Munster Masters Cross Country 2021

On Sunday the Munster masters cross country was held in Clarecastle, Co. Clare.

The conditions were good for running, and the course was lovely.
Carmel MacDomhnaill had a very strong performance in the master women’s race to place 2nd in her own age category and 41st overall.

We had a team of 13 men racing. Aogan MacDomhnaill placed 3rd in the O35 category and 11th overall. Aogan was also on the county O35 team who placed 2nd. Mike Sheehy had an excellent performance to finish in 32nd place. Gerard Guina followed shortly to take 35th place. Mark Lenihan had a fantastic run and placed 52nd. Our own club O50 team of Liam Hurrell, George O’Sullivan, Kevin Kelly, and Con Mulcahy took 2nd place.
