West Limerick A.C club notes 17/01/21
Adare 10K goes virtual for 2021!
As we are in very uncertain times we in West Limerick A.C have decided to run our annual Adare 10k event in February as a virtual race. Participants can support the race and run in their own localities. There is a brilliant choice of distances, 1km, 2km, 5km and 10km.This encourages runners of all ages to get involved. The events will take place virtually throughout the month of February. It is €10 to enter and you can run one or all the distances and upload your results to MyRunResults.com. Adare 10k is the main fundraiser for us in west Limerick A.C with the proceeds used for promoting athletics in the communities that we live in. We would love to see juveniles and adults participating, getting out having fun and staying active.
Good News
It was great to see the club featured on Athletics Irelands website this past Saturday. The article contained a little bit about our history and most importantly how we are looking forward to 2021 and the building of the regional Athletics track.
