Micheal Manning Memorial Dunshaughlin 10k 2023

Ide Nic Dhomhnaill crossing the finish line in first place in Dunshaughlin

This popular race was sold out weeks in advance and was of a very high standard.

It was a hugely successful 10k for both Ide and Aislinn Nic Dhomhnaill. Ide made it three wins in the Peugeot Race Series with a first place finish in a time of 33:11. Aislinn also had a brilliant run , finishing 6th woman in a time of 35:25.

Conor Duffy was the first to finish in a time of 30:19.

We had a number of members head to Cappamore on Friday night for this race which was hosted by Bilboa A.C. 

The race was very close at the front with Rory O Connor just pulling away from Declan Moore to claim the victory. Rory won the race in 32:20 , Declan was just 3 seconds behind him. Shóna Keane was the first woman home in 39:32.

Karl Lenihan was in third place in a time of 34:14. Karl was followed by club members Padraig O Donnell 37:31, Karol Downey 41:01, Noel Fitzgerald 42:12, Shane Quille 46:56, Richard Lenihan 51:41, Seamus Cawley 52:39 and Malacky McCarthy.

Twomey Family Memorial 5k 

Well done to our juvenile member Fiona Mulchahy who was 2nd lady home in a time of 23:46.

Con Mulcahy finished in a time of 23:54 , making it a productive day out for the family.

Aogán MacDomhnaill 2nd and Niall O Callaghan 3rd in Munster Masters 3000m recently

Munster Juvenile U14 to U19 Championship 

Congratulations to Aaron Lynch who travelled to Templemore on Saturday and came 3rd in the Munster U18 3000m. Ciara Lannigan also travelled on Saturday and ran a good race in her 200m heat finishing 5th. Well done to both athletes for making the journey to represent the club.

Community Games

Best of luck to our juvenile members who will represent their community games areas in the county finals this weekend in Mungret.
