Race results 27/3/2022 Limerick County Board 4 Mile
It was a beautiful day with lots of sunshine and little to no breeze, it was the perfect day to race in Dromcollogher.
It was great to see all the cameras in the square to capture Mary Ita McCarthy who was being filmed for a documentary for RTE.
The West Limerick A.C. Ladies were first out in the women’s race which commenced at 1P.M.
Aisling Fitzgerald was our first athlete home followed closely by Fiona Burke and not far behind was our third west limerick athlete home was Susan Lowe.
The West Limerick A.C women’s team claimed the following: * Novice County (Gold) * Senior County (Silver) * O35 Team (Gold) * O50 Team (Gold)
An absolutely fantastic performance from our women’s team it was marvellous to see so many woman represent us today and we look forward yo welcoming all of the athletes back for the next county event.
The West Limerick A.C. Mens team were out on the road at 2P.M start.
Niall o Callahan was our first athlete home followed closely by Declan Guina and not far behind him was our third athlete home Karl Lenihan and then closely followed by Aogán Macdomhnaill.
An also a mention to our only juvenile who ran today Aaron Lynch who placed in the men’s top 20 and scored for the men’s novice team that placed second.

Race results 26/3/2022Munster indoor championship U9 – U11
It was A fantastic day out for our juveniles in Neenagh on Saturday.
A special mention to Emily Sheehan who came 3rd in u11 60m sprint winning a bronze Munster medal pictured with her “happy” dad Jeremiah Sheehan.
Well done to every juvenile that was involved and also to there parents who made the journey for them to participate we can’t thank you enough.
