Raheny 5 mile
Well done to Mark Lenihan and Carmel Macdomhnaill who travelled to Dublin on Sunday to take part in the Raheny 5 Mile race. The race was one of the more highly competitive events and attracted a huge turnout of over 4000 runners on the day. Mark had a fine race to finish in a time 29.31 and Carmel also crossing the line in 40.03. Well done to both athletes.
Clare series 5k
The first 5k race of the Clare series took place on Saturday in Scarriff, Co. Clare. There was a huge turnout of over 800 runners for this very well organised and popular event. Weather conditions on the day were challenging with the heavy wind and rain. However, this did not deter many of the athletes who had fine performances on the day. Two of our West Limerick athletes took part on the day with Mary Folan Ryan finishing in 24:28 and Ide Curtin in28:15. Well done to both.

Analog Devices Adare 10k 2019
The Analog Devices Adare 10K 2019 sold out in October and there are no more entries available. Last year we had nearly fifty volunteers and we will need the same again for this race. The 25th anniversary of our road race will take place on Sunday February 24th at 1pm. As this is our 25th anniversary we are looking forward to welcoming back our previous male and female winners from past races.
We are looking for members and friends of West Limerick A.C. to volunteer for our main club fundraiser. In 2018 we had 20 volunteers for number collection and 50 volunteers for race day.
