Juvenile Training:
Juvenile athletics training for registered members starts back on Tuesday 27th August at 6pm in the Demesne in Newcastle West. We meet at the bridge in the Demesne . The second day of training (Thursday night) will no longer be in the Community Centre but instead on a Sunday morning at 11am in the Demesne commencing on the 1st September, the focus for the next few weeks will be cross country in preparation for the cross country events.
Any parent with a child age 9 and under must stay for the duration of training. We ask all parents to ensure their child uses toilet facilities before each training session as there are no facilities in the Demesne. Also children need their own water bottle at each session , hydration is very important for young athletes.
If you decide to drop off your child and go you are required to return 10 minutes before the session ends, children are not allowed to walk to a car park alone, they must be dropped to and collected from the training area at each session.
