National Senior Cross Country 2021
Declan Guina was in Dublin today for the National senior cross country 2021.
Declan had a strong race to finish in 99th position.
The race was 10km long and Declan ran it in a time of 34.34 averaging 3.27/km.
Top three senior men:
Hiko Haso Tonosa (Dundrum south Dublin A.C) placed first.
Darragh Mcelhinney (U.C.D A.C) placed second.
Paul O’Donnell (Dundrum south Dublin A.C) placed third.
2021 AGM and club awards
West Limerick A.C. are postponing our AGM and Club Awards until early January 2022.
Both will occur on the same night. Date and venue TBC.
There will not be a Christmas party in 2021.
AGM:
As our club continues to grow and with the arrival of the Regional Athletics Hub in 2022 we are looking to grow our committee.
We are looking for nominations and club members who feel that they can contribute to the progress of West Limerick Athletics Club.
We could have up to 300 members in 2022 and we need help so that everyone has a voice and can be catered for.

West Limerick AC Training
Senior:
Tuesday night training takes place on the greenway at 7:15 PM. Meet at the Church car park in Ardagh. Training costs 2 euro. Our training is interval type sessions and great to improve strength and fitness. New members are always welcome please contact us if your would like to join. Headband and high vis must be worn.
Fit4life
Fit4life training takes place Tuesday at 7:00pm on the greenway. This training is coached by Mark Ryan. Please bring a headlamp and high vis. New members are always welcome please contact us if you would like to join.

Our Juvenile membership has reached capacity. Please contact us if you would like to place your child on a waiting list.
