In the Masters results Ger finished 3rd and collected a bronze medal, Aogan collected a gold for 1st in his category. Sean was 3rd in the Senior 1500m. Colum was 5th in the Senior 800m.
Representing the females were Paula Collins, Dympna Lawlor, Catriona Lenihan and Carmel McDomhnaill in the 4 x 200m relay.
Carmel was 1st in 1500m category while Dympna collected bronze in both the 800m and 1500m races.
Great to see our athletes represent the club at Munster level. Well done to everyone.
Rak Half Marathon:
Europe’s first half marathon of 2019 took place over the weekend and we had our very own Martina Ahern out in the green and white colours proudly representing West Limerick AC. This was a highly competitive race with the first 15 males crossing the finish line in under the hour. Martina had a great run completing the course in 2.02. This was a fine performance in what’s fair to say fairly hot weather conditions. Well done Martina.. great to see West limerick being represented over that side of the world.

Micheal Guiney continued his fine run of form when he completed this 5k run in 19.53.
