County Juvenile Indoors 
 
Well done to Josh Cummins , Tristan Kirwan, Joseph Carr,  Rafe Cussen , Leyna Cussen,  Katie Lenihan and Andrea Carr who  competed in the County Juvenile Indoor Championships in Nenagh on Sunday.
It was a great day for West Limerick AC. Josh was first in the 600 m U13 winning a county medal and also won a county medal for the 60 m hurdles. Katie and Leyna made it to the finals in the U9 60 m and Leyna came first winning a county medal. Well done to all our young athletes who were excellent on the day and thank you also to all the parents and coaches.
 
Analog Devices Adare 10k 2019 
 
The Analog Devices Adare 10K 2019 sold out   last Thursday in record time so unfortunately we have no further places left.
The 25th anniversary of our road race will take place on Sunday February 24th at 1pm. Registration is limited to 850 participants.
The course remains the same as the past few years and we are delighted to announce that we will have race day t-shirts and a finishers medal for all 850 participants.
The race has an Athletics Ireland permit, the course is accurately measured by Jones counter and race timing will be provided by MyRunResults. Entry is for over 18’s only.
As this is our 25th anniversary we are looking forward to welcoming back our previous male and female winners from past races.
 
Adult Training
 

Senior training continues each Tuesday evening at 7pm on the Astro turf in the Desmense Newcastle West.  New members always welcome.

Juvenile Training

Juvenile training continues on the astro turf in the Desmense, Newcastle West at 6pm each Tuesday evening and on Thursday evening at the community centre Newcastle West. Juveniles have to be 6 years of age to take part in training and 8 years to compete in competitions. Parents are required to be present for the duration of training which is one hour. New members are always welcome.

Church Gate Collection

Our annual church gate collection in Newcastle West takes place on the weekend of Saturday December 1st and Sunday December 2nd. Any persons available to assist please contact club chairman Kevin o Donoghue on 085 7462413

Club AGM

Our club AGM is set for Friday November 30th in The Rathkeale House Hotel at 8pm.

Save the date

Our club Christmas party 2018 will be on Saturday December 8th at the Silver Dollar Bar Newcastle West. More details to follow.

Juvenile Christmas Party

Christmas party for our juvenile members and families will take place in the community centre Newcastle West on January 6th.More details to follow.
