Adare Virtual well underway:
Our annual Adare 10km which is held every February is now well underway, only this time
our participants are running alone and uploading their result online! Well done to everyone
who has laced up and ran so far. Some fantastic results from our members. Two of our
juveniles, Eavan and Garvan Lyons ran excellent races in the 1km. The 5km has had 10
finishers so far. Niall O’Riordan of An Bru AC is in the lead with a time of 15:35 followed
closely in second place by our own Niall O’Callaghan in a time of 15:38. Mark Lenihan is in
third with a time of 17:18. Kevin O’Donoghue (19:25) is in fourth and jerry curtin (21:04) is
in fifth. The traditional 10km distance has seen 20 participants. Billy Lenihan of Grange
Fermoy AC takes the lead in a time of 40:06.Well done to Majella O’Connor (West Limerick
AC) on running a brilliant race and completing the distance is a time of 1:14:56.
